The Equator Company is an interdisciplinary sustainability consultancy with over 45 years of experience, combining strategic insight and on-the-ground expertise to deliver resilient, sustainable solutions. As a HARMONI partner, Equator contributes its strong background in social sciences, impact and risk assessment, crisis and communication management, and stakeholder engagement. Within the project, Equator helps ensure that resilience tools, user interfaces, and demonstration activities align with the real needs of civil protection agents and first responders by gathering stakeholder feedback, integrating social and human factors, and supporting training, communication, and cross-agency collaboration.

Dalila Antunes
Dalila Antunes is a Social and Environmental Psychologist with extensive experience in resilience and business continuity management, risk perception, community engagement, risk and crisis communication planning, and over 26 years professional experience including 17 years of participation in European projects. As Director at The Equator Company, she coordinates the organisation’s contribution to the HARMONI project, provides strategic oversight, supports task definition and outputs; ensuring quality, alignment with user needs, and timely delivery of tasks.

Beatriz Rosa
Beatriz Rosa is a Social and Cognitive Psychologist with experience in research, consulting, and project management, integrating SSH in risk and resilience projects, applying knowledge of human behaviour, cognition, and social and environmental psychology. She has contributed to different European projects, bringing expertise in risk perception, communication, stakeholder engagement and behavioural insights. As a Consultant at The Equator Company, she is the internal project manager for HARMONI, overseeing all of the organisation’s contributions, supporting technical and practical task work and integrating SSH inputs.

Leonor Mata
Leonor Mata is a Sustainability and Climate specialist, with expertise in physical and transition climate risks and their integration into organisational and systemic risk frameworks. In the HARMONI project, as part of The Equator Company team, she contributes to the analysis of climate-driven NaTech risks, supporting the identification, structuring and assessment of climate hazard drivers and cascading impacts on critical infrastructures, and their implications for social, operational and decision-making processes.
